Inspiring Action to Protect Winter Environments

We are a group of ski and snowboard instructors and snowsport/outdoor enthusiasts who are upset about seeing the snow gradually disappearing from the planet. Skiing in the rain in Big Bear last Christmas (2025) was devastating, and we felt compelled to take action.

Saving Our Snow Foundation (SOS) was founded, which is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Our goal is to raise awareness about how human activity affects snowfall patterns and winter environments. Through education, community outreach, and sustainable practices, we encourage people to take meaningful action that helps preserve the snow for future generations.
